- Each filter has seven process connections - Slurry Inlet, Nitrogen Inlet, CIP Wash Inlet, Vent, Nitrogen Inlet for Drying, Final Vacuum Outlet, and Filtrate Vacuum Outlet.
- Each filter has a large viewing window on the Upper Chamber as well as a small sight glass on the Lower Chamber.
- A Heating/Cooling Jacket designed for 50 to 75psi and registered to ASME Code surrounds the cake collection area. This jacket is for use with heat transfer fluids only, such as cooling brine, hot water, Dowtherm, Silthane, Glycol, or similar liquids.
- The remainder of the filters are not considered a registered pressure vessel. The Upper Chamber is designed for atmospheric conditions only and the Lower Chamber is designed for atmospheric to full vacuum conditions.
- The CIP Spray ball assembly is designed such that the entire spray ball assembly can be extracted from the nozzle without disassembly within the filter. The spray ball components are either Teflon or equivalent to the wetted material of choice.
- The Hydraulic Handling System has been recently re-engineered and requires little to no maintenance by the end user. Once the system has been charged at our facility there is no need for adjustment after shipment.
- The filters are electropolished inside and outside as standard practice. HALAR® Lined vessels are electropolished on exterior only.
- Filters are supplied with one set of Dry-Box Gloves (White Hypalon) and clamps, one Product Receiver Bag clamp, Product Scoops, and Operators Tool Kit with all tools required for minor installation assembly as well as filter operation. Further sets of Gloves can be purchased through local suppliers or AURORA® FILTERS can assist.
- AURORA FILTERS does not supply filter media with the filters as this is considered a user specific aspect of the equipment. AURORA FILTERS is able to assist users in sourcing filter media to suit their purposes.
- A variety of Spare Parts are available from AURORA FILTERS.
- Each filter is supplied with two copies of complete Operational Manuals and one copy of a Quality Assurance History Docket containing Material Test Reports, FAT Test Reports, Certificates of Compliance, and all registration information regarding the pressurized Heating/Cooling Jacket.
